Training and development

Learning and development is a big focus for us for the team at Granger & Co. We provide everyone who works with us the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge that will help them to develop and progress through our business – including finance, leadership, art of hospitality, food safety and barista workshops. We also offer mental health first aid, weekly food and beverage tastings, and Apprenticeship Programs for chefs and budding managers, designed to develop, nurture, and inspire the next generation of hospitality talent.

Benefits

We look after our people and actively encourage a healthy work-life balance with flexibility on working hours. At Granger & Co., everyone who works with us receives an extra day's holiday for every year of employment, 50% off when dining in the restaurants, complimentary staff food, tea and coffee during working hours, ongoing hospitality learning opportunities, tasting days, regular wine tasting and education, enhanced maternity pay, and participation in the cycle to work scheme (subject to eligibility). Our employees benefit from our memberships to and support of EAP and our wellbeing programmes, to Kelly’s Cause, supporting mental health, and to TOTM, looking after female staff specifically. We're proud to have a sponsorship license to support people with specific skills working in the UK, and because we want to nurture a welcoming place to work, we have a "refer a friend" scheme in place.
